-— Recently read a selection from Jean-Jacque Rousseau ——
Like most (all?) modern philosophers, Rousseau loved humanity but hated people, abandoning all of his children to orphanages and almost certain death.

The ONLY reason that I haven’t fled this country is because our GDP is still high (for now) and there are abundant educational facilities. We are that frog and the burner is govenment.
The only Chinese I have seen smoking are from Tiawan.
I never met anyone from PRC who smoked, or even thought smoking was a good thing.
