First on CNN: Obama to push administrative fix for insurance cancellations

The plan will in part call for insurance policies to be renewed for one year for those who already have insurance policies in the individual market, the source said.

Also, the source added, insurance companies will be required to notify policyholders of alternative coverage and what benefits they would be losing by keeping their existing plan.

an administrative fix is as good as long as BO would want it to be. They really want to avoid having to vote on something that they’d have to stick with.

Anyone remember when Obama wrote his promise on a napkin to Baucus that Obamacare wouldn’t cover abortion?

What will this cost the Insurance Companies?

Postage is a minor cost, but the cost of making up these letters and notifications and finding out what the new regulation actually does is a real cost.
