Two suspected terrorists are being held in Kosovo after a Nov. 3 attack on two American women serving as missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A total of six men were arrested Nov. 5 in connection with an alleged terrorist plot "inspired by extreme Islamist ideology." Two of the six are suspects in the investigation of the attack on the LDS missionaries, a senior police official involved with the investigation told the Associated Press.
The attack took place in Pristina, Kosovo's capital.
"We can confirm two sister missionaries were beaten in Kosovo and have been moved out of the area," LDS Church spokeswoman Ruth Todd said in a statement.

Someone should kick the clap out of them.
Hope the girls are okay.
Why am I not surprised?
Prayers for the sisters.
I am very sorry these women were brutalized.
My prayers for these LDS sisters.
Carolyn Johnson, of Bluffdale, Utah, said her nephew and his wife were called out of Sunday church meetings on Nov. 3 because his wife, a nurse, was needed at a local hospital in Pristina. When the couple arrived at the hospital, they were asked to treat the two sister missionaries, who reported they had been followed home, thrown down a flight of stairs and hit in the head with something sharp. They had multiple head wounds.
HMMMmmm...
I wonder why the people on duty at the time at the hospital did not treat them?
6-7 'men' against TWO women?
This is an instance where the Danites are NEEDED!
I hope these ladies recover and are kept safe.
I also hope your other folks in that area remain physically safe as well.
The two main religions of Kosovo are Islam and Christianity. The great majority of Kosovo Albanians (perhaps 97%) have Muslim family backgrounds, as do the Bosniak, Gorani, and Turkish communities and by some of the Roma/Ashkali/Egyptian community. Kosovo censuses do not ask questions on religious affiliation; it is therefore not clear how many maintain a Muslim affiliation. Kosovo society (like the constitution) remains largely secular. There are an estimated 65,000 Catholics (mostly Albanians, but with some Croats) in Kosovo.[171] The Serb population is almost exclusively Serbian Orthodox. More than one-third of all mosques in Kosovo were destroyed or damaged between 1998 and 1999, and 80 Orthodox churches were reported to have been destroyed or damaged in the six weeks after the withdrawal of Yugoslav forces,[172] and another 30 were destroyed and 11 were damaged by Kosovo Albanians in another outburst of violence in 2004.[173]
There is also a small number of evangelical Protestants, whose tradition dates back to the Methodist missionaries' work centred in Bitola in the late 1800s. They are represented by the Kosovo Protestant Evangelical Church (KPEC).[174]

Let's see ....
1. a Muslim nation...
2. Tensions already high from decades (centuries!!) of religious fighting...
3. Americans...
4. Women missionaries...
5. Highly controversial 'religion'...
What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Followed from WHERE?
Istanbul... Constantinople.... Istanbul... Constantinople.... Istanbul.....
If one of my daughters had insisted on becoming a missionary and they were called to a third world country, this father would have prevented it.
My son went to Spanish speaking New Jersey and that was bad enough.
Thankfully all three kids have left this controlling cult.
