Fighting a hostile takeover of freedom’s party (The Tea Party versus the GOP-e)
The Politico ^ | November 12, 2013 | Matt Kibbe

Posted on 11/13/2013 11:46:58 AM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

"Learn a little bit more about how business has been done in the Congress of the United States.”

Those were the words of advice given by senior Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) to junior Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) during last May’s debt ceiling debate. It’s a provocative suggestion, considering that traditional congressional business practices have led us into almost $17 trillion in debt, unfunded liabilities several times that amount and a congressional approval rating that hovers around 9 percent.

Business as usual in Washington has failed the American people, and it’s time to clean house.

In the corporate world, a “takeover” is the act of correcting dysfunctional business practices and replacing failed management. It’s an attempt to salvage a company in distress, driven into the ground by complacent bureaucrats and growing debt.

A takeover is not instigated by a small minority of outsiders but, rather, by a majority of the shareholders. The transition of power turns “hostile” when the entrenched management regime strikes back, more concerned with preserving its own power than advancing a vision to produce something of value.

Sound familiar?(continued)

“... how business has been done in the Congress of the United States” is precisely the problem, McCain, you moron. And you are at the heart of it.

It used to be said that the business of America was business. We are now in the post capitalistic world where the business of America is politics.

""Learn a little bit more about how business has been done in the Congress of the United States.” "

Maybe the meme should be: "Figure out how to change how business is done in Congress so as not to screw the People as much".

Read the comments at the end. There are a lot of brainwashed lemmings out there, STILL.

They don’t realize they are supporting communism. And they are repulsed by the ideals on which this nation was founded.

Wouldn’t it be funny if it was his choice of running mate that finally put him out to pasture? She owns a home there.

What is amazing is that pollutico printed an article by Matt Kibbe!

"Learn a little bit more about how business has been done in the Congress of the United States.”

So says the doddering old senile big government fool ... who should take a little bit of time to assess the sorry state of our nation because of ... "how business has been done by the likes of HIM"!

It is well past time for a hostile takeover of gOp by the "base" which is the Tea Party movement.

I’m willing to bet that not one incumbent will be re-elected between now and 2040.

The GOP is freedom’s party, and we’re taking it back.

Nice ending.

I suggest that Tea Partiers, and those GOPers sympathetic should CHANGE THE NAME of the Tea Party to...

...TRADITIONAL REPUBLICANS.

It is much more descriptive, and inclusive, and more difficult to tar.

Who would listen to loser McCain? The old ways don’t work anymore—not with a crook like obama at the controls. They may have worked at one time but not now. We need new ideas—maybe go back to the 19th Century and look at Henry Clay and how he fought for states rights—Nullication —Let the states nullify Obamacare—threaten Civil War and session if the Feds and Liberals wish to force the issue. If Obama wants to be like Lincoln—give him his wish.

There’s a lot of yakking about Conservatives taking over the GOP.

It’s all a ploy, i think, to stave off the inevitable GOP total destruction that must happen. Let’s get the rebels into the fold, and under the thumb. And we can suck blood for another fifty years with a lifetime of criminal vampire swine.
