The Truth about Navigators: James O’Keefe reveals corruption at heart of president’s program
The National Review ^ | November 11, 2013 | John Fund

James O’Keefe, the guerrilla videographer who helped bring down ACORN (the “community organizing” group that Barack Obama worked for as a lawyer and trainer) and got NPR’s president fired, is back.

This time, his undercover investigators focused on Obamacare’s “navigators,” the nearly 50,000 people who, in the words of the Department of Health and Human Services, “will serve as an in-person resource for Americans who want additional assistance in shopping for and enrolling in plans” on the Obamacare exchanges (at least when they’re finally working). The total value of grants doled out for nonprofits and community organizations to hire navigators has topped $67 million nationwide, and some of the money is going to a group run by ACORN’s highly controversial founder.

The events of O’Keefe’s video of a Texas navigator site run by the National Urban League are a familiar sight to viewers of his past efforts exposing Medicaid and voter fraud. Government-paid workers supposedly trained to uphold the law advise clients on how to lie on government forms, evade legal requirements, and ignore proper procedures....

It will be interesting to do some research on these navigators in South Dallas. Wonder if they have any links with Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price? He’s the Al Sharpton of South Dallas.

I’m doing a Google search right now. So far I’ve discovered Mr. Price has attended ACA Navigator press conferences in Dallas and Houston last August and September, which it clearly states on Google, but when you click on the articles, you can’t find Price’s name. Give me a few more minutes and I’ll give you a juicy link. That’s my specialty.

Hmmm ... Pitney Bowes is a finacier of the National Urban League (NUL), while its corporate executives operate the NUL. Here’s a link for Pitney Bowes:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitney_Bowes

NUL is running ACA Navigator operations in South Dallas and it appears as if Mr. Price is the field commander for the office. According to a press release, JWP is “Engaging Young Professionals in Social Activism,” Here’s the link:

These are one of those days I wish I could post a Price story on the Dallas Blog. It would have been perfect timing. The Dallas County Commissioners’ Court is held every Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile Mr. Price is still under investigation by the FBI:

http://thescoopblog.dallasnews.com/2013/09/whats-happening-with-the-fbis-case-against-dallas-county-commissioner-john-wiley-price-apparently-not-much.html/

Yet the National Urban League has opened a Facebook page to raise cash for Mr. Price to pay his legal bills. It’s called, “Justice for John Wiley Price Committe.” I can’t open Facebook in Beijing, so here’s the Bing link:

http://www.bing.com/search?q=John+Wiley+Price+National+Urban+League+Facebook&qs=n&form=QBLH&pq=john+wiley+price+national+urban+league+facebook&sc=0-22&sp=-1&sk=&cvid=a4cae4576aa14e9f93741a6a4dd65acd

NUL also awarded JWP at this year’s MLK Dinner:

At this point, “what difference does it make”?

So there are 50,000 ...why aren't they signed up themselves.....inquiring minds seek to know.

Because they're all on Medicaid.

Even a rudimentary study of history will reveal that the larger the government, the greater the corruption.

Corruption follows government like stink follows s***, a lesson which Marxists such as Obama would prefer everyone ignore or forget.

“Even a rudimentary study of history will reveal that the larger the government, the greater the corruption.”

There is a larger issue here, and it is very destructive and disturbing. We have a large and growing number (and percentage) of people in society who feel absolutely justified in cheating the system for whatever they can get, and they are being constantly protected and courted by the Democrats - thus they are becoming an important monolithic voting block that perpetuates the corruption. It is a cancer, and the Democrats are the blood supply that feeds this cancer.

They don’t think what they do is really wrong, because they believe that they are entitled to ‘get money from those rich people’ - meaning the rest of us who work and pay taxes, (rich meaning anyone making more money than them). They feel entitled to freeload, and the Democrats wrap all of this up in a nice package and call it ‘social justice’, and ‘fairness’.

Many of the rest of us are becoming demoralized, progressively over time, and this is part of the long term plan of those who want to impose socialism on America. A demoralized opposition is an ineffective opposition. How many people even on this site have lost hope, feeling that we’ve crossed some critical threshold from which it is almost impossible to come back from? How many feel that they are becoming a voting minority, and that those who believe what they believe are a shrinking proportion of society?

To be honest, at this point I think one of the most viable ways to deal with this is to have more children - lots more children, and be the best parents you can possibly be.

I would have a bad conscience doing anything illegal. As much as I would love to cheat on taxes, steal from this gov’t I couldn’t and wouldn’t do it, because I pay in the end.

Counter this attitude instilled in me, and what we’re seeing all around us, starting with the Food Stamp debacle, which they blamed on Walmart, to the abuse of things like FMLA and worker’s comp fraud.

Watching the Kennedy years the other night. I truly believe that our world would be much better had the man lived. You can probably say the same about Lincoln. It makes you wonder why? Why does evil come in and undo what is good? Kennedy sounded like a conservative back then just before he was killed.

Well said.

I’m a little old for children, but, yes, I am certainly demoralized.

Show this video to John Boehner and ask him if he's shocked that Obamacare is being used as a DNC enrollment vehicle. Then ask him when he plans to announce he's switching parties.

This is a natural outcome of social services scams that have not been prosecuted for decades. They are as natural as breathing to these “navigators” and that is why they have been chosen for these “Jobs”.
