DEMOCRATIC OPERATIVE ATTACKS GOP ELECTION OBSERVER IN FAIRFAX (VA)
Bearing Drift ^ | 11-10-13 | Shaun Kenney

So it appears as if physical threats and the threats of violence are OK with Democrats hovering over the Fairfax Board of Elections. Witness this clown:

(video embedded at link) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AH0bm6mARVg

…as you can see from the video, this Democratic operative (volunteer? attorney?) is clearly agitated, tossing chairs and tables back and forth while treating the opposition as… well, less than human.

So when the cameras came out, the agitation went up. At least it stopped getting physical — until the 1:00 mark where the man slapped the Obenshain observer with a smile on his face.

The Democrats hate us — they truly do. This is the routine for Republicans dealing with Democrats, and we’re going to have to be more aware — not aggressive, just aware — that in a world full of camera phones we can start documenting their violence against us.

This is how elections get stolen, folks. Share this with friends. With 55 votes separating Obenshain and Herring as of today, expect the Dems to become more and more aggressive. Certainly the media and the authorities aren’t coming to the rescue, and the Dems won’t police their own.

Some county clerk decided to issue marriage licenses to queers, regardless of state law. She declined to bring charges because she’s all for it.

How typical of leftist prosecutors! All too often, political enemies face prosecution and financial ruin by prosecutions on trumped up charges, while political soulmates get away with serious crimes. This is what tyrannical regimes do. It's in their DNA!

I believe the absentees have been counted and they are on to the provisionals now. Fairfax County had 483 provisionals but not all of them will be accepted I’m sure.

The lead as of 10 pm eastern for Obenshein is a mere 17 votes out of about 2.2 million total.

Voter fraud better become a priority for Conservatives. Note I said Conservatives instead of the GOP.

It was +681 a few days ago. It’s currently SEVENTEEN. SEVENTEEN votes. Rat votes are always hiding in corners, the last to be counted.

We can’t let them steal another one.

The rat candidate for Texas AG is some jerk named Sam Houston, are you *hitting me?

He lost 51%-46% for State Supreme Court in 2008, with 3% for the liartarian.

Are they gonna find a guy named Stephen Austin to run for something else?

It sounds like 136 out of 493 provisional ballots in Fairfax County were “accepted” and will be counted on Tuesday.

Hopefully Obenshain can net some from other counties because if not Herring will have the lead going into the recount. I dont believe the recount will involve provisionals and absentee ballots.

I see that fascism is alive and well in what was once known as the United States.

The real problem is, most of our side isn't bright enough or aware enough to know this fact of life.

Must respectfully disagree. The real problem is, many of these people are not just arrogant, stupid fascists. They are flat-out crazy. Like, real crazy. Like certifiable, but walking amongst us crazy. Sensible, grounded, Conservatives/Republicans have a difficult time dealing with their level of nutball, particularly since the media glamorizes them constantly, and the liberal braintrust uses them like shock troops to attain its goals.

That fat old bastard would be on his ass if he touched me.... Would wipe that smirk right off his face....

Not as spry as I once was, but still capable of breaking the arm at the elbow if someone like that decides to strike me. Can rip ears and noses off too...

DEpends upon VA law...And I am surprised that since this is caught on video, that the DA has not weighed in on this...

Assault by contact, in Texas law, I believe is a serious misdemeanor...Kinda like shoving that does not produce any real injury, but still is considered unwelcome contact...

If this happened in a poll I was the presiding judge in, I would not care what your political affiliation is...I will have you arrested and charged, with disruption of a polling location at the very least...

That’s why in Texas poll watchers are certainly welcome to observe, but their contact with election staff and voters is limited if not outright illegal...The only person they can actually talk to is the presiding judge at that polling location...

I will study this video a few more times to see if I missed anything else...

Well, if someone manages to do so, this guys life is now public...His actions are on video...

The context of this incident is suspect...And I believe the person documenting this could probably done a better job of covering his arse from any legal repercussions...

No one else was there, and apparently, whatever irritated this “operative” was not included on tape, which is kinda important...Like I said, all I saw was a big guy pushing a bunch of furniture around, and then he physically assaulted the cameraman...

We’ll have to wait and see what happens with the election review procedures for this County...That may bring this back to light very soon...

Keep us posted...

I think you mean combatting voter fraud better become a priority for conservatives.

Voter photo ID is a good step but it's not the entire answer. Some more suggestions: (1) Eliminate early voting; (2) Eliminate Motor Voter; (3) Frequent updating of voter registration files to eliminate deceased or moved registrants; (4) Require proof of US citizenship upon voter registration; (5) Require valid reason for absentee voting; (6) Due to vulnerability of electronic vote counting and tabulation systems to outside hacking (e.g., optical scanning and touch screen systems) which can compromise the accuracy of vote totals, use paper ballots which can be kept in secure locations throughout the vote counting process. (At least until more secure electronic systems can be employed.); (7) Increasing prosecutions and convictions of vote fraudsters and cheaters.

Does he claim to be related to or a descendant of the historical Sam Houston?

So annoying.

There used to be gunplay, back in Reconstruction. But that was a very anomalous situation, deliberately created by people in Massachusetts. Bell the cat, cancel the cat, kill the cat.

Nah, the guy's a nuisance candidate, been around a while. You only see him on a ballot when nobody else cared to file.
