Don’t count Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus among those who believe comprehensive immigration reform is dead this Congress.
Despite exasperation among reform advocates that the House has refused to vote on any major immigration bill — particularly the Senate-passed legislation — Priebus said that his “gut” feeling is that the House will indeed pass an immigration overhaul in the next 14 months.
“Something significant is going to happen because obviously mass deportation is not an option. I don’t think doing nothing is an option. And I believe most people would agree that something significant needs to take place. Now what that is, I don’t get to make that decision,” Priebus told Bloomberg’s Al Hunt in an interview set to run Friday evening on “Political Capital.”

Mass deportation is the only option.
Is it not crystal clear by now to every Conservative that we have no friends in the RNC? I only remain a Republican in name so that I can vote against these RINO’s in primaries. No chance they will ever get another “lesser of two evil” votes from me.

I’m at a loss, at this point, as to how a grand debate on immigration gets taken up in Congress with the Obamacare mess they’ll be dealing. This is an everyday-of-the-week debacle that will take up the entirety of 2014 in the news. Who is going to say “let’s forget about the healthcare thing and talk about legalization of illegals” in the middle of an election year with this thing hanging around? I now Issa promised to launch something but I really expect it to meet a quick death and quietly so while being drowned out by everything else going on. Am I all wet here?

The choices are mass amnesty 20 to 60 million or mass deportation? Really Rinse Cycle? How about enforce current law, secure the border and expel the criminals?
