Warning: If You Sign Up for Obamacare Your Information Can Be Accessed By Complete Strangers A St. Louis woman found out she was a victim of identity theft this week after she signed up for Obamacare.
Lisa Martinson called customer service after she forgot her password. Thats when she was told three different people were given the password to her account, her address and her Social Security number. Then she was told it would take up to five days to get her personal information offline.

Obama will say he is sorry that some *people* found themselves in this situation.
He says he takes EVERY American’s problems seriously.
He said so.
This information will scare people away. And that’s exactly what they want. Malfunctioning website, too. This is all by design, folks.
seems like they shoulda figured that one out a little quicker. Like, say, on the second person.
I wonder how they know three other people were given her info. If they put notes on her account, wouldn’t the second person have realized something was fishy? Maybe no one reads the previous notes. I see that happen ALL the time. Sometimes it feels like I’m talking to myself in the profile notes.
exactly.
apparently, the Obamacare CSRs are as brilliant as their web guys.
We’re giving them too much credit probably, assuming they can read. Why would any sane person enter information in that website! I’m afraid to go look at it just for the laughs. Even with my new spiffy browser update courtesy of Upchick.
exactly. crisis to bring about singlepayer commiecare.
I wouldn’t touch that site while wearing the world’s most reliable Internet condom. I can’t imagine how horrified people must be that have to go to that place because their health literally depends on it.
I’m in Maine, and this afternoon I was listening to a talk show being broadcast from Boston.
A woman called from Augusta, Maine, and she said that she applied for Obamacara online. The woman, who apparently is unemployed, claimed that her deductible will be $200 and her monthly premium is only $1.00....one dollar!
The kicker....she said she received a phishing call from someone who was determined to be calling from St. Charles, Missouri. The woman said this guy had her personal information, and he was asking for even more information.
The woman called someone at the Obamacare 1-800 number, and they told her that she was the victim of a phishing scam.
Speaking of what you would think is a reliable condom, I signed up for LifeLock after a little run in with an identity theft issue. Its not all that.
You don't need no steenking security!
All your identity are belong to us.
And the Nigerians.

Eets on the innernet, chu dumb gringa.
I had to load up with the same kind of services because the Chinese hacked my states’ entire taxpayer database at the department of revenue. That’s another long, sad story about governments and websites, and it ends badly, too.
Anyway, you’re right. None of them are particularly impressive. I’m much better off just praying that the person the Chinese sells my SSN to is the charitable type of criminal.
Ruh roh. What state?
Get in there and use Obama fake SSN when you sign up.
ROFLMAO - love the accent !!! LOL !!!!
5 people signed up in the entire DC area.
Gee, I'm all broke up about it (sob).
