Bluntly put we need to call on the Lord to be saved, and that from top to bottom.
I see zero possibility for a resurgence of Christianity. The entire society has moved away from faith, religion and any sort of philosophy of any description. There is not even any critical thinking being taught in schools. The government has all but banned Christianity, but embraced diversity which it interprets to mean Islam. (Ironically, Islam is the least inclusive and diverse religion on the planet.)
A resurgence would require getting rid of government restraint and anti-religious propaganda combined with a popular resurgence in the media and entertainment worlds. Both of those despise Christianity with a passion and regularly produce powerful and influential works against it.
Even if Jesus returned tomorrow I doubt that he could get the word out. Unless he regularly turned the media and entertainment people into goats theyd make mincemeat out of him on the talk show circuit. He could bring back the dead and theyd still be critical.
Congratulations you bought Satan's propaganda hook line and sinker.
More seriously, you are looking at Christianity as though it were some other ism like conservatism.
It isn’t.
It’s the work of a living God and Creator who never gets tuckered out.
And those who are savvy, like the Lord has given to me, will see the operative pattern of God (as if it weren’t already obvious from the Old Testament). Let evil fail to the point that people have no doubt they need something more. Then provide divine salvational message. Result: revival. Now how long that lasts depends on the people involved. But there is no “ism” that can rise above the salvation of Christ. Only people’s own choice to stay with Satan. And we are not privy to the information required to prognosticate this like God has.
