Well that IS what I was getting at: the terrorists ARE supported in the terrorist acts by their families and it is JUST that their families pay,but it is not LEGAL in the U.S.

Sure, I understand. And in the USA, I think a broad net of a conspiracy charge needs to be liberally used with these guys.
But Bills of Attainder/Corruption of Blood protections were something the USA founders fought for, and should not be lightly tossed aside, no matter how crappy the terrorists are.
We’ve unnecessarily given up lots of freedoms on this “War on Terror” already. No need to add more to the fire.
