They can only pick our candidate if the voters listen to them. We need to educate our voters! Santorum was close but moderates liked Romney unfortunately. Santorum would have excited the base, Romney didn’t.

Santorum has the charisma of a fence post out in the back 40 where nobody ever goes. It is a nearly rotten fence post that barely supports the wire

Santorum was a Bush clone, if you liked Bush then you’d love Santorum. I would not vote for another Bush named Santorum.

I’m base, and Santorum did not excite me…not his pro union stances, his global warming stances, his attacks on other Republicans……no, takes more than being right on abortion to excite the educated base.

And FTR, his recent attacks on Cruz prove he is still an Arlen lover……and yes, I know, you hate when that is brought up…but RS did it to himself just a couple weeks ago.
