You forget to things:
1) almost all government offices are staffed with a majority of “minoritiy” workforce, epecially those that provide government aid.
2) white people don’t get benefits that are even close to the percentages that the minorities receive. The why is a whole other subject that they will never admit to. Have seen it with my own eyes.
That’s the “solace” I take in the demise of the country...
This current course is unsustainable and will crash. It simply can’t go on much longer.
I’m getting set up as best I can so that I can feed my family during the crash, and the takers will suffer for their indolence.
> My son is a cashier at Kroger and although the old legend about the woman in expensive clothes getting in her Escalade after using Food Stamps is pretty much just a legend, they do come in and sort their purchases into WIC items, EBT items and Cash items which almost always include cigarettes and beer. If they try to buy the Cash items on a card, 10% of the time it is rejected.
And they almost always have an attitude.
Legend, come visit my Walmart and I’ll show you LEGENDS for hours on end...
Realistically, it can easily go on for another 50 or 60 years. It’s not gonna crash anytime soon, certainly not in my lifetime, and I’m in my mid-40s.
Hell the USSR lasted for 70 years.
I have not been to walmart in the past few years where I DIDN’T pay for the food of the person in line ahead of me.
“Arent there supposed to be big foodstamp riots going on because the dollar amount per individual went down this month?”
We may have to wait until later in the month, when their cards actually run out. It’s early yet.
I had to do my big, every-other-month, shopping in the nearest city on Nov. 2. I went to 4 stores, one a church thrift, Aldi’s, Sam’s and the local large employee-owned store.
I was shopping from 12:30-3pm. By 12:30, it already looked as though the locusts had blown through. Shelves were half full. Every place was jammed, parking was difficult to find.
One-third of all recipients of SS and EBT had just been replenished. I normally do this chore on a Saturday and it was way busier than I have ever experienced.
the problem is currently the people receiving food stamps the amount is declining as the states are running out of money. here in Michigan the 48 month limit for welfare is coming up. Soon there will be more people leaving the food stamp program in Michigan. So they will go to border states Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin, others will go further South like Texas. Just prepare for an exodus from one state to another state that has more employed people to pay for the ones whom do not work.

Good one...: )
If you really want to get pissed off at our Walmart just watch for the following (race has been ommitted for reasons of PC). Mind you I have wiitnessed this with my own eyes; the actors change but the m.o. remains the same:
A pregnant woman with 2 or 3 other kids on her side and the shopping cart walks up to the register with a boyfriend who is clad in a brand new shirt, jeans, and cowboy ht. they pay with their EBT card then get into their looks like new F150 Ford pickup and drives off the lot.
A very overweight woman with a wig rides through the aisles filling her shopping cart with T-bone steaks, shrimp, and every assorted snack you can dream of then slows down the shopping line while trying to retrieve her EBT card. You see her later getting into her Lincoln Navigator which is parked in a handicapped spot right near the front door.
Two women get in line one behind the other. One doesn’t buy anything but uses her EBT card and appears to buy items for the one behind her. You are following behind after they walk out the entrance and you see the woman pushing her grocery cart hand cash to the other woman.
BTW none of these persons were white but I probably didn’t have to tell you that, right?
I’ve watched people I *thought* were conservative get consumed by the handoutblob over the past decade. Unsurprisingly they begin defending their position in the handout line and eventually end up ‘haters’ of anyone who would ask they go back to work. There’s always some excuse. Jobs are in the next town over and they don’t want to drive. They’re overqualified for the job in question or the hours don’t suit them. It’s always the same. Once they climb into the welfare hand out hammock it’s VERY difficult to get out. Even if you want to get out.
And it’s not their melanin propensity that makes them act this way - it’s their generationally engrained entitlement culture.
I can assure you that Obamacare will push a sizable number of people below the poverty line.

I think this is what Obama, the Clintons and their minions believe, that they can continue to borrow money to buy votes and skim a little something of the top for decades to come. This racket can only work as long as the rest of the world is willing to accept US dollars for petroleum and other goods. Once other countries wise up it won’t matter how many billions of dollars we print, there just won’t be enough food and energy available to distribute to all the unproductive masses.
I give it until just after the 2016 elections.
About two months ago the rental office of the complex where we live went to ‘bankers hours’ with a noon-3p siesta, apparently. Today I figured it out. The hours of staff were reduced to JUST BELOW where they are entitled to employer-funded benefits.
Community organiers will NEVER outsmart businessmen who have to deal with a real bottom line without benefit of simply whining about increasing the debt limit.
Yep, and they started out with a whole lot less than what we have.
Only question is, "When did the decline start?". I think that some FReepers would say in the 30s. I'd pick the 60s, with LBJ's great society. It's a matter for debate, but when the slide started will help determine when it will end.
IMO, not my lifetime. Likely, my kids'. Which really hurts, but I can get them as ready as possible.
It’s not a legend, I saw it first hand at Walmart a few years ago.
I was right behind an older lady using her welfare card and when I walked out, she was loading her items into a new SUV, worth at least $50 grand.
This is not the norm but it is happening.
I am in California, our imports come the south,...over the border,...but some are workers ..or at least the use to be of that persuasion.
