Friday’s slaying of a Transportation Security Administration officer at Los Angeles International Airport is fueling calls from union leaders to give some of the agency’s employees guns, handcuffs and the power to make arrests.

I remember prior to a trip to Peru a friend saying, "Peru is a police state, there are armed policemen standing all over, in front of jewelry stores, in the hotels....." Now the US is the police state. It is government against the people, preying on the people and robbing the people.

These are welfare-to-work employees.

Mexico City is the same.
Cops standing at nearly every corner.

I saw a 16 or 17 year old in the Mexican army standing in front of a bank, holding a Thompson sub machine gun.

This is a prelude to taking them out of the airports and putting them on the street.

Just another division of the Civilian Army, loyal only to The Usurper.

They are anxious to redefine their mission from airports to every other form of transportation.

Bad enough they get to grope us. You want them to be able to shoot us as well?

If they arm those goons, I will never set foot in an airport again.

Not even if Obama mandates that I must.

TSA employees are some of the most ignorant, stupid, and worthless humans to ever walk in our beloved Country. I happen to know several of them and to a person they were EBT sucking leftists with zero education and no ability to have even one cogent thought let alone the brain power needed to carry a firearm safely.

This will be Obambi’s “Army” in conjunction with all the worthless DHS personnel. Not a single one of these people would bat an eye if they were ordered to shoot conservatives or anybody who refuses to lick the boots of the Dems.

They’re already on the streets in VIPR units. I think that the correct acronym. All thats left is to arm the TSA and give them arrest power. Then they can stop and arrest anyone they like. Its up to you to prove innocence unless you get tagged a terrorist then you disappear into the world of secret courts etc. vanishing from the face of the earth.

Why not just station already-armed Homeland Security personnel at the site and allow the mouth breathers to grope in peace and security.

See? Security for the security. Now I've got the totalitarian answer. The SS had the SD, too, so there's historical precedence.

I’ve been though it twice when I flew to Denver.

That will very likely be the last time for me.

Arming TSA reminds me of a union issue several years back, proposing that toll collectors (Port Authority bridges, tunnels, etc.) in the NYC area carry weapons. It turns out that if toll collectors carried weapons it meant they were entitled to higher pay. To my knowledge it didn’t happen. The NYC Port Authority toll collectors are well paid and have great retirement benefits ... just another attempt by their union to squeeze the public.

Most TSA employees wouldn’t qualify for carrying a firearm due to their rap sheets.

To work for the TSA...

... a high school education is not a requirement

... a GED is not a requirement

... it is perfectly acceptable to be a male homesexual and you will be able to touch only male passengers, including male children

... it is perfectly acceptable to be a lesbian and you will be able to touch only female passengers, including female children

... no experience in any type of security job is required.

Yep.

Any bets the legislation was written the day the TSA was created, and has been waiting in a file cabinet for an excuse to ram it down our throats?

Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!

To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
