Does GOP want to lose this election?
World Net Daily ^ | 11-4-13 | Joe Kovacs

Posted on 11/04/2013 4:21:30 PM PST by ReformationFan

If Republican Ken Cuccinelli does not defeat Democrat Terry McAuliffe in Virginia’s race for governor Tuesday, there is a strong possibility the GOP establishment will actually be happy, according to talk-radio giant Rush Limbaugh.

“‘You’re losing elections for us!’ I think that’s what they want to say,” Limbaugh said Monday. “I don’t know this, but I’m telling you that I don’t think there would be that much disappointment if Cuccinelli lost.”

“If that’s right, if that happens to be true, stop and think about what that means: that you actually have the Republican establishment with a chance to win another governorship in Virginia, and they’d be OK if they lose it because they’ll get to blame the tea party and conservatives for it. And I think there’s very little doubt that the Republican Party is not happy with its base – tea party and conservatives.”

Limbaugh wonders why establishment figures in the Republican Party have an aversion to tea partiers within the GOP.

“Why should we be afraid of the tea party? What has the tea party been wrong about yet?” asked Limbaugh.

“The real curiosity here … and it’s a genuine stumbling block. It’s a real mystery why do the Republicans not want to win? Because it sure doesn’t seem like they do, does it?”

“Moderates” are lying, manipulative, bottom feeding, scum. They’ll happily toss an election to the democrats just so they can sit back and say “Told you so”.

They’re nothing but Kapos to their fascist democrat masters.

Excellent article by TGO Mark Levin, today, about this very subject. Here's an excerpt....

The RINOs want a Terry McAuliffe victory in Virginia.
Many in the GOP establishment, from major fundraisers and consultants, to GOP officeholders such as the GOP Lt. Gov and mayor of Virginia Beach, have either trashed Attorney General Ken Cuccinnelli or endorsed McAuliffe outright. The GOP national machine has done next to nothing for Cuccinnelli. And GOP bag man, Karl Rove, is all over Fox without a word of support for Cuccinnelli, while he schemes and whispers behind the scenes against conservatives nationwide.

Having tried to sabotage Cuccinnelli’s candidacy from the start, these GOP actors are hoping for a Cuccinnelli loss and a big Chris Christie win (built on a Huey Long style of politics) to make the case that only big government Republicans can win and limited government, constitutional conservatives, such as Tea Party activists, are too extreme to prevail. They’ve already written the script....

“All I know is that if the GOP passes amnesty for illegal aliens I’ll be leaving the party.”

Come on in, the water’s fine. I left in 2007 when it became obvious that the GOPe had no interest in stopping the slide into financial insolvency.

I do not understand the so-called appeal of being a supposedly “moderate” Republican. If I wanted to be a liberal, I’d have no reason not to be a Democrat. Isn’t that the point of having an opposition party, i.e., to actually OPPOSE the policies of the other party?

There are no Republicans in DC imo. We need to replace GOP RINOs with Constitution-respecting patriots.

**************

Do you mean historical or predictions for this election? I’ve seen speculation
ranging from 35 to 51% or so but I have no real info to share.

My guess is it’s going to be low and I base that on the big names that have been called in during the last few days.

Rush is an egomaniacal gasbag.

Cuccinelli will lose simply because he abandond his base.

Probably not.

However, O-care is going pretty much as planned. It is wrecking ins. companies and getting many Americans who are used to ins.to be dropped. The ANNOUNCED plan is single payer--by Reid, Dingle, Obama (in a speech); first, healthcare, like this country, must be fundamentally changed.

That is the plan, and most politicians seen on tv talk about his incompetence, lack of experience, etc.

He and his cohorts have a plan--it is working, thanks to the cupidity and stupidity of the American citizenry.

Fundamental change, anyone?
