The plans are offered by insurance companies! Why would an insurance company offer a plan that would put them out of business?? That makes no sense at all.

A message on HealthCare.gov says the online application function for those seeking health coverage will not be available each night from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. EST, when officials conduct maintenance. So I guess people in Hawaii (GMT -10, or EST -5) are out of luck after 8:00pm. In other words, people getting home after work, trying to log on, had better hope they can get'er done in a couple hours, or it's aloha, eh?
