Is Ken Cuccinelli closing in on Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia governor's race? The latest poll from Emerson College shows McAuliffe, the Democrat, with 42 percent support and Cuccinelli, the Republican, with 40 percent. Libertarian Robert Sarvis has 13 percent in the poll of 874 likely voters.

The two-point lead for McAuliffe is the smallest he's had in any poll since September.

Sarvis does seem to be solidly on he pro-sodomy side of things. Interesting too, that in 2002, while young men his age were enlisting to serve in the war, he decided to sit it out. That is quite telling, in my opinion; it’s certainly not something a leader would do.

“Funny how these “Libertarians” show up when a conservative is running but not when a RINO is the candidate.”

Ok a rino is socially moderate and economically conservative.

A “true blue” conservative is socially conservative and economically conservative.

A libertarian is socially liberal and economically conservative.

A libertarian will thus find a rino more tolerable than a true blue conservative.

Your comment bears repeating:

"Sarvis’ supporters need to realize that their choice is between someone Paul has endorsed, and a radical left wing nutjob."

Sarvis supporters, please look at the big picture. The United States of America is on the cusp of tyranny. Please stand up and vote for Cuccinelli.

I don’t know if the libertarian will be getting as much as 10 percent as this poll states. The biggest number, IMO, is McAwful’s 42%. He is falling like a rock and with 3 days to go, Ken can win this election.

I think that the big factor in this race now is Obamacare. From the website to all the cancelations and premuium / dedectable hikes. This is hurting dems including McAwful. Terry will do everything to defend Obamacare and cram it down Virginians throats while Ken will do everything possible to stop it. The choice is becoming that clear to Virginians.

i know what you mean, that 13% is a game changer, Libertarians need to reevaluate their votes when walking into the booth.

Sarvis likes the idea of putting a government tracking device in every private vehicle.

Not only is Sarvis a fake libertarian, Any “libertarian” who supports Sarvis is a fake libertarian.

This is a real possibility. Look what happened in 2012: stolen election, but on a far larger scale.

I have zero doubt it is going to happen precisly because of 2012. They methodically, brazenly and unobstructredly stole the most important election of our lifetime. They are going for the whole enchilada here. If they view winning the Virginia race as important, who is gonna stop them?
