And you know that, wait for it...women and children are going to be hit hardest-blah, blah blah.
Would this include buying armored vehicles and billions of rounds of ammunition?
In all fairness, global warming aside, it is past time for America to evolve from a “biodegradable boomtown”-style culture to a more durable, longer lasting, higher quality style.
That is, for example, infrastructure and buildings are built only to last 20 or maybe 50 years, then to be torn down and replaced with equally fragile stuff. Yet today we finally have materials and technology that could exist for hundreds of years with just periodic cleaning.
Of course this is more expensive, so it wouldn’t be for everyone. A lot of people like “cheap and cheerful”. But we should at least have some structures and infrastructure that can withstand the test of time. Something our descendants can enjoy just as much as we do.
Wouldn’t it be grand that each state have at least one great castle, a monument to the place and its people for all to enjoy?

They certainly have been. When they're not worried about losing their seats they follow in lockstep.
However, Dem Senators like Pryor in Arkansas up for re-election are seeing the poll numbers drop from 47% to 31%. These will break from Obama in order to save their seats.
I believe Obamacare is finally going to cause some turmoil in the ranks of these people.

He is. He is in the dangerous group of narcissists, dependent on constant adulation. Unfortunately for him, his base of worshipers is beginning to see a different light--that they've been bamboozled. When the info filterers in the White Hut and the media let the info through that he is not only well despised, but an international laughingstock, he'll likely have a psychotic break of some kind. Only instead of waving a pistol around, he'll wave whole agencies.
Pray those in the agencies which get those orders have the sense, Divine Guidance, and fortitude not to follow them.

A) The fact is that the world is not warming, it is cooling - by lot.
B) There is not sufficient data on correlations between minor climate variations and severe weather events to make any blanket statements on the negative impact of either cooling or warming.
The only conclusive thing that can be said is the global cooling tends to shorten plant growing seasons and diminish the amount of land available for farming at the extreme ends of the temperate zones.
