There are three types;
“Leftist” who know it is total revolution/destruction of our system that they seek. I believe Obama falls under this category. The total ideologue.
“Liberal” which would include those who like the soft squishy European style of socialism that appeals to the lazy and disillusioned. Truth and facts are inconvenient, but ignorable.
“Useful idiot” as Lenin called them, which have been coined “low information voter”. Sound bites, catchy phrases, and political gotcha moments, along with peer pressure are very effective with this group. They really have no idea.

Your answer is yes. Single payer allows for healthcare rationing. Aimed directly at aging Baby Boomers and the physically handicapped of all ages to decrease the surplus population
And who will pay for so-called single payer? Not the half of the nation already on the dole.

Medicaid is just Medicare for people under 65.

Medicare is a monthly premium, annual deductible, 20% co-pay, no dental or eye care for an aging population that spends more on failing eyes and teeth than youngsters. Plus Medicare enrollees when working paid Medicare withholding taxes.

There is no comparison between the 2 other than they are govt administrated. Medicare is hardly a freebie.

IF Medicaid replaced ALL insurance, then all the current health insurance company employees will become FedGov™ employees. Assuming it will take the same amount of people to administer the services this will even add to the pool of Democrats...
They may have set up Obamacare for the illegals who would benefit from the single payer system down the road.

My point was simply that Medicaid is a back door to Single Payer, and Medicare is always used by the Left as a shining example of how Single Payer would work. I seem to recall some Rat saying that Medicare should be expanded to include all ages when the Healthcare “debate” was raging.
I wasn’t talking about Medicare being a gimme since it is funded by Medicare Taxes.

Yep. Considering all those communist types from the 60s/70s are grown up now with grown kids and grandkids of their own along with the influx of illegals, we’ve been outnumbered.
I do not, for the life of me, however - see how they can view single-payer as a viable option. It just *sounds* good to them, that’s all I can figure.
I would like to think any immigrants (legal or not) would have come to this country to leave the hell-hole govt control they were used to. Out of the pan and into the fire, I suppose.
