How Adolf Hitler Prevented 'Subject Races' from Possessing Arms
breitbart ^ | 10/28/13 | AWR Hawkins

During a speech in 1942, Adolf Hitler said, "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to posses arms." In other words, Jews and others whom Hitler wanted to wipe from the earth first had to be separated from their guns.

This was not new position for Hitler. Rather, it was something he had put into practice from the moment he came into office.

When Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, he seized gun registration information that had been compiled by Germany's previous government under the premise that the information would not fall into the wrong hands or be used for an all-out confiscation scheme. But as gun scholar Stephen P. Halbrook makes clear in his new book, Gun Control in the Third Reich: Disarming the Jews and "Enemies of the State," Hitler's hands were the wrong hands. And Hitler and the Nazi movement used all the information they could find—as well as the threat of brute force and death—to force Jews and others to hand over their firearms.

As Halbrook put it: "The Nazis thought it was pretty important to be sure the Jews weren't armed."

Gun Control in the Third Reich covers gun control under Hitler but, perhaps more importantly, it covers the methodology of that gun control in great detail. In so doing, Halbrook helps the reader sees how registration led to confiscation, and how confiscation turned citizens into subjects and eventually into victims—victims of their own government and/or of an invading force.

I am sure if it was good enough for Hitler it is good enough for the Democrats.

If someone rewrote Mein Kampf to change a few words and slapped a well-known leftists name on the cover as the author, how would it be very different from any other Leftist tome?

Former and late (thank goodness) senator Tom Dodd was one of the lead counsels at the Nuremberg trials. He copied Hitler’s gun control laws and tried endlessly to get them through the US senate. Had Dodd senior not been censured for campaign “irregularities” he might have made it.

His son Chris was just as worthless.

I remember reading many years ago that Dodd’s Father was a Red and an extreme enemy of the White Russians.

That is about all I remember tho.

Yep, the old man was a neo-socialist masquerading as a “conservative” dem, and was a corrupt and silly man, even though he served in the Nuremburg Trials. He did copy the gun laws of the nazis, and tried to market it. He kept his campaign money for himself and was dropped by the dems for CT senator, and we got—— Lowell Weicker!! Then we get chrissy boy, to ruin our country financially, and to make waitress sandwiches with Teddy boy. And where is son Chris now? He is the head of the Motion Picture Assn.of America, so he can hump some more young starlets in his older age perversion. A real pimp, this one, like his dad. The senator from Countrywide, seriously mobbed up,like all dems- Harry Reid the bagman. Deo Vindice.

Not enough to be for the right things or ideas, also have to be accurate.

Hitler was speaking of the peoples of the nations he conquered and not necessarily specific racial groups in the remark. Here is the paragraph it comes from:

Hitler’s Table Talk, 1941-1944: Secret Conversations records Hitler as having said the following sometime between February and September 1942:

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let’s not have any native militia or native police.”

The Nazis also excluded all German citizens, not members of the Nazi party, from possessing firearms. Too many conveniently forget that little detail.

For one, it’s well-written.*

* Still evil. And rambling a bit. But Hitler sure could write. Just like Obama can read a teleprompter.
