PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fl, October 28, 2013 The Constitutional conservative grassroots movement called the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party has become the favored whipping boy of the elite class of both political parties, and once again is being attacked as racist.
The modus operandi of Washington DC is to attack that which it does not understand or threatens its existence.
What is so threatening about the TEA Party? Apparently the fundamental principles it embraces.
First, the Party believes government should be limited as articulated in the Declaration of Independence and resolved in the Constitution, which clearly restrains the power of the federal government. The Party believes in fiscal responsibility and who wouldnt be concerned with this wasteful spending and exorbitant debt? The TEA Party supports the free market economic system that has produced the worlds greatest economy, ingenuity and innovation. But most importantly, the TEA Party believes in and holds dear the immutable American principle of individual liberty and freedom.
What American would not embrace those values? It seems President Obama does not and therefore his supporters and Hollywood acolytes like Robert Redford castigate anyone holding these values in opposition to the President as racist.
But the real racists showed themselves last week when Congressman Alan Grayson (D-Fla) sent out a fundraising email using the burning cross of the Ku Klux Klan as the T for TEA Party. Grayson accuses the TEA Party of being bigoted. But how can a movement focused on individual liberty for all Americans be bigoted?

My focus too. Why don't we start telling Americans why the Left calls the Tea Party "evil, greedy and racist?" And then have them scratch their heads and realize they're Tea Party too.
Excellent! Good read.
Great column! Thanks for posting this.
The Tea party is catching flak from both parties.
The Tea Party should stop screwing around and become a real party.
We only have one party now, we need two.
Liberals are promoting a “me antiracism” movement whose other side of the coin is a “not you” racist movement. This is the word game of the narcissist who could give two craps about anyone, let alone of another race.
No, not another Perrot party gravy train for fools. If it comes to that, then secession is what is needed.
So Nixon was a Rino afraid to offend Southern Whites? Tell me I am not surprized about the stupid detente party.
I was under voting age for that election but my parents were staunch Republicans and Nixon supporters. I was unaware of that until just now reading West’s column but we lived in CA and racism was nothing like it was in the South.
“You know you are over the target when the flak is heaviest”
Do the math.
Biden's comment, 'ya'll would be in chains' if it weren't for democrats - was the most insulting... Responsible black adults do not need the protection of 'the mazzter'...
And yeah, Kennedy was right on this issue and Nixon wrong and cowardly... damaged us... in so many ways...
Nice post jaz.. thanks.
You’re right about Biden’s idiotic comment and Nixon. You’d think at his age Plugs would have learned to keep his mouth shut but he never will.
Allen West is a good man, hopefully he’ll be back because we need many more like him.

I know the math, but what we are doing now isn’t working.
We are only marking time and not getting anywhere.
One day the dollar will collapse, and when it does it will be too late.
The reason Biden’s not keeping quiet is because he believes what he's saying. He - and he alone - stands at the gate stopping Republican hoards from putting chains on blacks and hauling them off to cotton plantations.
“I know the math, but what we are doing now isnt working.”
What you propose will not work either, unless the objective is to get a one party majority into the forseeable future.
That is what we have now.
