Couldn’t happen to a more deserving crowd than CA, where the fruits and nuts couldn’t get enough of BO and would vote for him again, if they could.

They should be proud that their higher premiums are going to pay for the medical treatment of a preventable disease - AIDS.

"People could have kept their cheaper, bad coverage, and those people wouldn't have been part of the common risk pool," Lee said. "We are better off all being in this together. We are transforming the individual market and making it better."

Good to know our government overseers are here to protect us from our bad choices. Certainly individuals can't be trusted to act in their own best interest.

Lopez says he's willing to absorb that one-year jump if it means the government can rein in future rate hikes. "I'm hoping with this reform," Lopez said, "we won't see big increases year after year."

Good luck with that.

SOME insurance gets higher?! Thats not completely accurate. Almost ALL are and not by a small jump either; try 3 to 4 times. Obamacare will do destruction 3 fold: (1) kill the economy, (2) destroy the quality of healthcare, and (3) empower the government on a level never seen before as it collects personal and financal information on its “citizens” that it can use to control them as it destroys their quality of life by threatening them whether overtly or by implication as needed if the citizen challenges the “system” in any way either by protest / speaking out or exposing them or their corrupion.

The left enjoyed using the, lame and totally off target, argument that auto insurance was mandatory. Lets’ compare Obamacare to auto insurance. If I have a $30,000.00 vehicle and auto insurance rates were designed like Obamacare, here is an estimate of what I would pay. Annual premium $12,000.00. Deductible 50% up to $60,000.00 In other words I wouldn't have an insurance policy at all. I have a payment plan. Also I would be required to have a policy even if I didn't own a car.

I’m tired of the lie that if you are on an employers policy you aren’t affected! Our plans have to conform to these same standards and we are paying more for lousier coverage like everybody else!

These middle-class consumers are staring at hefty increases on their insurance bills as the overhaul remakes the healthcare market. Their rates are rising in large part to help offset the higher costs of covering sicker, poorer people.

Thousands of Californians are discovering what Obamacare will cost them — and many don't like what they see.

I voted for free healthcare and all I got was a lousy death panel?

We knew that Obamacare would result in higher prices before it was even passed. The brain dead Obama supporting media waited until after the 2012 election to start reporting on it.

The scariest scenario is that The One will nationalize all insurance and healthcare, which may have been his plan all along.

Typical socialist. Spreading the misery around evenly. Except to the ruling class of course.

What am I supposed to feel sorry for people?

After years of mocked, laughed at and made fun of by liberals and “moderates” who lectured me on the goodness and morality of Obamacare, they can all kiss my ass.

Don’t like high prices? Stop being so greedy.
