Didn’t Obama say we could absorb a blow?

Which sounds like he thinks we can take one without fighting back.

I had forgotten about the EARLIER Obama Outrages, but now that youve refreshed my memory Yes I do believe he did suggest we absorb a nuclear attack.

sadly that was never mentioned during this last election cycle.

Yes he did if I recall right....I have zip confidence he would lift a single finger....but he’d put his face in a camera and say everything his idiotic followers would swallow...and they would too!

Obama isn’t about America or her safety....he’s about himself and the crap World Governance/ Universal Citizen mumbo jumbo....and so isn’t his administration and his retarded followers.

I’ve often wondered when he’s finished not doing his job.....if he won’t move to another country altogether? Otherwise we’ll be paying an enormous amount for his secret service protection even after he leaves. I hope he does leave...

Yes, he said something to that effect.

I’m afraid we’re going to see it happen.

They finished a new super bunker under the White House recently. Obama would take Reggie down there and ride it out.

Obama is as evil as anyone who has ever lived on this planet.

This is apparently the full text of Obama’s “absorb” comments to Bob Woodward. It’s unclear what he’s getting at, but he spends all the time talking about prevention and doesn’t bring up the notion of retaliation at all.

I agree with Hardraade that Obama would drop the bomb on New York before dropping one on Iran.

The POTUS is a communist, a Muslim sympathizer, and a racist. Now having said that, below is is his actual quote from 9/23/2010 ...

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/plum-line/2010/09/full_context_of_obamas_absorb.html

"I said very early on, as a Senator and continue to believe, as a presidential candidate and now as president, that we can absorb a terrorist attack. We will do everything we can to prevent it. but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever, that ever took place on our soil, we absorbed it, and we are stronger. This is a strong, powerful country that we live in, and our people are incredibly resilient."

Then he addressed his big concern. "A potential game changer would be a nuclear weapon in the hands of terrorists, blowing up a major American city. Or a weapon of mass destruction in a major American city. and so when I go down on the list of things I have to worry about all the time, that is at the top, because that's one area where you can't afford any mistakes. And so right away, coming in, we said, how are we going to start ramping up and putting that at the center of a lot of our national security discussion? Making sure that that occurence, even if remote, never happens."

... the fact that Obama then launched into a discussion about nuclear terror suggests the first part of his quote was a reference to a conventional terror attack -- which he contrasted with the far more catastrophic nuclear variety. He was saying that history has already shown that we can absorb a conventional attack -- but by contrast, we may not be able to "absorb" a nuclear one without it being a societal "game changer." And that's why it ranks at the very top of his list of security concerns.

Which of course I don't buy for 1 fleeting second.
