Former Mayor Dinkins defends his administration and offers advice for de Blasio

Former Mayor David Dinkins was a special guest on Campaign Closeup this week and he had some strong words for Joe Lhota.

“The man’s desperate,” Dinkins said of Lhota’s controversial attack ad on Bill de Blasio.

Dinkins defended his administration, saying crime in the city began to fall well before Rudy Giuliani took over as Mayor.

The former Mayor also offered up advice for de Blasio, who was a staffer of his.

“The man’s desperate,”

As most New Yorkers will be after a few years of DeBlasio’s governance.

I remember Grand Central Terminal under Dinkins.

The “homeless” could be found everywhere you looked, and the smell of urine and trash was awful. Anyone with sense avoided the restrooms unless there was absolutely no choice.

The change a couple of years after Rudy took over was amazing. GCT was clean and inviting, and the bathrooms were clean and well lit.

Dinkins also set back race relations, especially between Blacks and Jews.

This the quintessential scenario where "defend" and Dinkins Administration are mutually exclusive, concepts that must exist in two separate, diametrically opposite universes, or otherwise, like matter and anti-matter, would end up destroying each other.

Otherwise known during New York City "dark" days as Squeegee City. The habit of the homeless, taking to clean your car's windshield with a ineffective brush/Squeegee while immobilized by a "red" traffic light, having to endure them imposing on you, often making the windshield dirtier than it was before, in an effort to force you to cough up some change was the bane of local residents. The Dinkins Administration refused to put a stop on these public nuisances allowing them to run amok without consequence.

Wake up New Yorkers, a wave of Obama-style incompetence & incompetents is about to hit your city - avoid it while you still can.

People in NYC will be so relieved to know that they can still vote socialist, plunder their neighbor’s property, and still be free from crime!

No, Jews still vote for every candidate endorsed by blacks.

I remember being harassed by squeegee men, being propositioned by a coke dealer in Bryant Park while attending a formal affair at the NYC Public Library, and jumping over garbage in the curbside.

Can’t wait for this fun side of NYC to begin again, sooner then anyone thinks.

David Dinkens - Just a reminder of how really bad an incompetent, hard core liberal, city administration can be.

Sort of like Obama but on a smaller scale.

Oh, and Dinkins was SUCH a paragon of mayoral competence. First thing he did was commission himself an $11,000 HEADBOARD on city money. No kidding. He also reigned over the Squeegee Man plague and held back police from policing the rampaging blacks in Crown Heights, resulting in the only modern pogrom I ever heard of and the death of an innocent rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum HY”D.

Thousands of murders each year on his watch, and he spent most of his time at the courts of Forest Hills (tennis, for those not in the know). Second worst Mayor in the last 100 years, the first being the execrable John Vliet Lindsay.

And the next (<<<>>>) liberal loser, DiBlasio. Even the lib media has started to point out some of his shortcomings, but it will not be enough to turn the suicidal lib NYC voter. They go to the lib loser candidates like moths to a flame. I really really cannot understand it. They run, don't walk, to vote for any and all lib loser candidates. They consider nothing about them except for laughably superficial things, like his kid's Afro hairdo. The only thing that seems to matter is the D before the name. The local R candidates seem to be a very poor bunch, without a clue as to how to really sell themselves. It's like something in the air here, the knee-jerk liberal point of view on just about any subject is "understood" to be the only possible correct viewpoint. And then the libs nod at each other in a mutual understanding, a shared "Of course!"

Were they implanted at birth with some mind-controlling device?

Well, my parents moved months ahead of my being born there, so I didn’t get an implant. ;-D

Sure, just keep telling yourself that, you magnificent failure.
