If I understood the article correctly, a little over 8% of the gross proceeds goes to breast cancer research (I’ve heard the norm is around 16% due mainly to marketing and administrative costs). But the article also notes the following:
*Still, there are unanswered questions about where the money is going and who is profiting.*
If a certain amount of money (however much they’re talking about) is being spent legitimately, why would the NFL not reveal the details? Curious to say the least.
