Obama Tells Americans to Enroll via Phone, Phone Number Crashes

As Americans become more and more perturbed over the Obamacare exchange website glitches that have crippled the rollout of President Obama’s signature program, President Obama took to the podium on Monday and suggested that Americans apply in person or via phone for enrollment in the Obamacare exchanges. “Nobody is madder than me about the fact that the website isn’t working as well as it should, which means it’s going to get fixed,” Obama said. He then recommended a toll-free phone number to call.
There was only one problem: the Obamcare toll-free phone number was overloaded and immediately crashed. According to Lou Dubois of NBC News, “Call centers now appear overloaded due to volume. ‘Please call back.’” Dubois wasn’t the only one reporting the new glitches. Annie Lowrey of The New York Times added, “For the record, just called 1-800-318-2596, got a busy signal.” Kasie Hunt of NBC News: “Just called the number. They said there's too high call volume and call back on the weekend. ‘We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Can’t make this stuff up. This would be funny if it wasn’t damaging our private health insurance market. Hundreds of thousands of American families have received notice their insurance is being cancelled due to Obamacare.

I heard that if you show up at your local Democratic representative’s office, they can get you a better deal that is 1/2 the cost others are paying.

I'd bet there is at least one other problem: Dollars to doughnuts says that the guy at the Obamacare call center does nothing but go straight to the very same website to try to enroll you.

And more than likely, the majority of callers were journalists seeing if they could get through. LOL!
Perhaps americans should go and apply in person. I want to see photos of the lines. I would take off a day to stand in a line for a photoshoot. People need to get used to lines BTW.
In fact we could form a line outside the WH waiting for Obama to help us get healthcare.
This whole facility is like one giant answering machine that is routinely ignored by the owner.
And they crucified Bush for FEMA being 24 hours late to New Orleans after and unexpected hurricane Katrina.
Obama is a piddling little brat. We all know how brats handle problems. Toy doesn’t work. Smash it against the wall and stomp on it. Mommy will get a new one. Only there is no new website or system ready to give Obama a new Obamacare toy.
Power is dangerous in the hands of tyrants and fools, and Obama is both.
Rush should suggest listeners call the number and ask if Congress is covered by Obamacare.
