Muslims don’t like vaccines. It’s safe to mock a Jenny McCarthy over vaccines, but no one mentions the vehement opposition of Islamists to vaccinations.
In Afghanistan, the Taliban have issued fatwas against vaccines and murdered workers. Nigeria and Pakistan have also been scenes of violent Muslim opposition to vaccination.
Muslims aren’t even 1 percent of the population of Scotland. But they’ve been doing their Talibanest best there, with the aid and support of the so-called Scottish National Party that often seems more like the Pakistani Immigrants Party and now Scotland’s largest vaccination program has been shut down because of them.

If that is what you want then that is what you get. When these preventable diseases find your children we will simply quarantine your communities and let you fend for yourselves. You do not get to use our medicine and doctors that you distrust so much and we will not pay to treat something that should have been prevented. When these diseases decimate and eliminate the population within your communities and you are all dead we will not have to worry about what sixth century morons believe. Problem solved.

There are all sorts of crack pots in the US and Israel who have a problem with vaccines, too. One of them is my eldest son’s ex wife. So let them not vaccinate their kids, just like the other crack pots. Over this Scotland shuts down a vaccination clinic? They got anything under those kilts?

No, we are not.
There is little or no anti-Semitism in Scotland, now or historically. One of the few European countries that doesn’t have a history of it.
What there has been is some noxious anti-Israeli nonsense from Scottish pro-Palestine groups who have sadly succeeded in putting pressure on a small handful of local councils to ban buying Israeli products.
They do not speak for most Scots, who even if they don’t agree with Israeli policy, find such banning wrong and rather fascistic.
A tiny minority of anti-israelism, yes, but anti-Semitism (too often the two are joined), no.
The Jews have a happy history in Scotland.
The Scots rejected and reject racist and anti-Semitic groups, from Mosley’s 1930’s blackshirts to today’s BNP. Jews have lived and thrived in my country, and have famous areas of residence and culture, such as Newton Mearns just outside Glasgow and the Garnethill area in Glasgow. There have been many prominent Jewish businesspeople, artists and politicians in Scottish life.
