Which Company Supplied the Barricades on the Mall? (Vanity)
Posted on 10/15/2013 7:52:48 AM PDT by agrarianlady
Does anyone know which contractor supplied the black fences around the monuments?
I would like to contact whichever company that supplied the barricades at the monuments and ask it to come and pick them up. A boycott and bad publicity is what they deserve for this.

There was a post last week trying to find the rental place that supplied the Barry-caids.
What came about was that they weren't rented but purchased by the Govt 3-4 weeks ago.
Looks like they were planning for a shutdown and a closure of memorials then..

If its a private company, they are located in DC and 99% of their business is the Federal government. I wouldn't bother.
Except, next time, I would toss the barricades on a bonfire or into the Potomac.

I would guess that the barricades are NPS property. There are enough high-profile large events on the National Mall and elsewhere in DC that they likely get used fairly often.

Come on, don’t deflect the blame from the Obama Regime to some private business making a legitimate product. IT’S THE OBAMA REGIME who is the villain here, not private enterprise.

It runs on contracts and kickbacks. These barriers are rentals - rented from favored companies who are generous in their under the table kickbacks and in their overt political donations. I gar-on-tee!

If the government is shut down how come there are government worker to keep putting the barricades back up?...see this is the logic...the left see the world as naturally closed and the right see the world as natural open

My only complaint is that last time the protestors laid them down in front of the Spite House.
I think simply leaning them against the fence, like hundreds of wide steel ladders, would better convey a certain MESSAGE.
Best done by placing them in a neat row in front of the fence and then on a signal have a minder at each one stand them up en masse...

But the signs were very specific to the occasion. They had to have been ordered and purchased literally months ahead of time, the procurement process being what its. Idea, authorization, design, specifications, numbers, invitation to bid, 30 days or more bid time, bid award, production, delivery and distribution all over the nation and Europe too. Don't kid me Barack. This was PLANNED LONG AGO and you and Jarrett et al. did it.

Oh, of course it was planned months ago - the 0bama crowd would say that “we had to plan it - as a contingency”, but that’s nonsense. I was just referring to the original poster’s question about the barricades, and about contacting the contractor to take them away.

They had plaques on them stating they were rentals. The federal government doesn’t buy anything with an advertising plaque on it. They were rentals.

So - we need a close-up of the plaques.
