Hi Ernest! Wish I had seen you earlier, would have pinged to my post below.

Unfortunately this is a major quake and is also a shallow quake at 35 miles deep (56.8 KM).

from USGS Measuring Earthquakes - 56.8 KM or 35 miles deep is considered a shallow quake
