Keep the government shut down, they cannot do amnesty for illegal aliens. Sounds like a good plan.

No, more like 5 times (immigration, debt limit, leave O-care along, no debt or spending reductions, new tax increases)

I’m sure Bonehead, Cantor and McConnell are ready to bend over
again. They must like it, because they bend over frequently.

What is the next thing above “double-down”?

The government can’t reopen if the Zero King refuses to “negotiate” and rejects everything the Congress proposes. Repubs need a stiff spine and not give the idiot everything he wants and expects. Let him whine and cry some more.

Would they dare stab us in the back twice?A rhetorical question, no doubt.
To: amnestynone
Sure he would stab us multiple times, besides it's our own fault for fighting back.

I guess fixing the nation’s economy that is 17 trillion dollars in debt and getting tens of millions of unemployed Americans back to work isn’t a big priority compared to giving legal status to illegal aliens. Wow, I’m glad to know that Washington is on top of the things that really matter to the American people.

Immigration is another reason to stay with the shut down.

I'm so angry about this "deal". How is it a negotiation if one side gets everything and the other side gets nothing but the blame? I'm actually relieved O turned it down. What the hell s wrong with the jelly spined, lily livered, mush brained idiots we call Republicans? The idea here is to spend LESS money!
Also, I'm sorry to say it, but California just created de facto amnesty with driver's licenses for illegals. We have such a large percentage of them here, and others will come here just for the license. They have to have them to sign up for California Care, dontcha know.

As we’ve seen today with the EBT “glitch” we have an entire sub-class that has to be fed, housed, educated and now medicated at the expense of the productive class.
But that isn’t enough for Barry, Juan, Bush & Co. They want to saddle us with Mexico’s ‘deadheads’ as well.
Keep it shutdown! They’re cheaper if we pay them for sitting on their collective azzes.

Obama: "there is so much else we should be focusing our energies on right now" and cited immigration as one of the things the government had to "fix." Actually Boehner and McCain would agree with that statement.

Nah. Keep it shut and default. Bambi wants it, give it to him.

Obama rejected a House Republican proposal that would have re-opened the government and raised the debt-ceiling for six-weeks in return for an agreement on a "framework" on negotiations on more long-term budgetary issues. I would say Obama now owns the consequences.
