i.e. hearing aids, vision and dental care are not covered under Medicare.

7. Since Obamacare was overly hyped by politians but is seriously flawed in so many ways, it commits the USA along a path towards totally socialized medicine. So we are in for another round of health care changes on the near political horizon (possibly in the direction of single payer).
I was notified by my doctor that he was closing his practice effective January 1, 2014.
His reason? As a small town doctor he can’t afford the transition to the automated national data system and the extra administrative personnel to actually work the system.
Another reason is that he is so “burned out” taking a briefcase of papers home each weekend to review and sign along with the entire mess that “coding” creates.
He does not have the money to “invest” into the new system nor does he have the will to become a government slave rather than the independent businessman he once was.
It’s a sad day in America to see the beginnings of the Socialist/Communist cancer that will eventually make the host die.
