Chuck Hagel traveled to Dover Air Force Base on Wednesday for the arrival of the remains of four U.S. soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
Joining Hagel on the trip from Washington were Army Secretary John McHugh and Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno.
The remains of every U.S. military member killed overseas are flown to Dover for processing. Family members often attend the arrivals, but high-ranking Pentagon officials usually do not.

This should have never been an issue. The very first supervisor should have said, “Hell yes we’re going to pay this.” Hagel’s mealy-mouthed first response on this should get him fired.
Well, he certainly has a good chance of having his photo-op without all that riff-raff like family members of the dead around.

In honor of their fallen loved ones the families should turn their backs on Hagel. Deny hims any recognition by them at all.

Fine. He has no authority and probably little initiative to push the issue. Who will push to get justice and punishment?
If that was my son—and it could be my son—I would spit at Hagel, Obama, or any other minion of Satan who tried to cash in on my suffering.
