Appearing on Andrea Mitchell's MSNBC 1 p.m. ET hour show on Tuesday, Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy slammed the press for not doing its job in pointing out the hypocrisy of ObamaCare being delayed for certain groups but not for all Americans: "...the media won't ask the question about why are you [the Obama administration] treating families different than big business....That's how pathetic news reporting has become, when they won't ask tough questions to the administration."
That response was prompted by Mitchell ranting that Republican calls for a one-year delay of the ObamaCare individual mandate was a "non-negotiable demand." Moments later, after Duffy explained that the GOP has "been incredibly reasonable, making a small ask," Mitchell was aghast: "You consider it a small ask he [Obama] gets rid of the central part of his health care plan that was upheld by the vote, a presidential election, and the United States Supreme Court." Duffy replied: "Andrea, hold on. That's your spin." Mitchell laughably asserted: "That's not spin."
Good job by Duffy. More need to learn that butt smooching the press doesn’t win you kudos or impress your supporters. Hopefully, others will follow his example and nail the media on many other of their massive fails.
Mitchell is lower than cow dung.
But of course that’s been long known.
He say member of congress is in obamacare? Don’t they subsidized more than they should be for their income they get. Shouldn’t member of congress be treated as taxpayers who earn the same amount?
He forgot to mention the Union Exemptions and how Obama is violating the Law by picking and choosing what part of the Law applies to what segment of Society.
Equal Protection under the Law is something a Liberal like Andrea will never understand.
Doesn’t matter though, Andrea will protect Obama to the death, or should I say our death?
I think it was Congressional Staff that get 75% of their Premiums paid because Pharaoh Obama made it so.
