At best, Halloween may have been hijacked by homo culture but the traditions leading to the holiday far out date the homo movement.

Halloween has become the high holy day for many. It gets almost as much attention as Christmas.

IMO the “holiday” that most represents the American Culture of Death is Black Friday; that one comes with a predictable body count every year, and gets worse every year.

Lighten up, Francis. It’s just an excuse for kids to dress up and get some free candy. BFD.

Not this crap again.

There is always someone one either side that just seems out some of the most benign stuff to demonize.

In other words, Freud’s description of homosexuality as, basically, men who refuse to move out of adolescence. No mature adult - whether a gay man or Al Gore - wants to dress up in costumes and preen around.

Apparently, the homosexual is developmentally arrested in childhood.

The point of the article(s) is/are that it is not mere childhood that is now fixated on the various celebrations of Halloween, but grown adults.

I didn’t realize this was an anti-Halloween rant, lol! I thought it was about gays stealing the holiday from children. It’s a wonderful time for little kids and their parents; not so much for single, adult men.

whoever wrote this is spending waaaaaay too much time in sanfranfreako.

It is what it always was, a day to dress up and get free candy FOR MINORS. Adults may have “fancy dress” parties but it is not or has never been the weirdo fest alleged by the left wing propaganda rags.

This is just more homos claiming the dead BS.

Especially when we. Consider real horrors like the Kenya mall massacre and Cleveland slave abductions, etc. that are living representations of demonic rampage. No need to build haunted houses anymore. Just make the kids sit through the news.

The author only need do an ebay search of Halloween postcards or decorations to see how popular the day was over 100 years ago in America.

Yep. These doom-and-gloomers have the same rhetoric to say about Christman or Easter or any number of US customs and events.

“They all have their origins in heathenism or the queers also celebrate this too - so BAN all these evil events.”

Phooey! I refuse to surrender to these types and accept their rigid rules.

I observe Halloween right along side the other holidays I value, MLK Day, Cinco de Mayo, May Day, Bosses Appreciation Day, and Ramadan. /sarc

I am locked up tight on that night.

My 10 y/o is going out with a long fake gray beard, camo clothes and a duck call.

I'm looking forward to an evening talking to the neighbors.

But for coaching HS baseball, and still being able to bat and throw with those kids at 63.

Best job I ever had!
