“The people of the United States should descend on that place , pull them out of their offices and send them home with the order ‘do not return ‘”

First “tar and feather” them, then run the RINO’s out of town on a rail, then, pin a note to them that reads “do not return!”

There’s a 50/50 chance that its one of the Gang of X crowd, or they just make this crap up, because it fits their narrative and wishful thinking, and make up an anonymous source.

Ok, fair enough...

I look at the cloture vote as something that defined those senators in two ways...

The first group, obviously wanted the situation to turn out just like it has, knowing that they were going to lose the argument anyway, and to save their asses in the up coming elections...(I would take that list and see how many of those humps are up for re-election this next year...I know Cornyn is for sure, and he has a primary opponent)...

The second group might have been duped into believing there would be significant (political) blowback, but could be weathered, because of their re-election bid is not in this particular election cycle...And that the moderate/elitist status they so dearly hold onto was more important than the people they represent...

You could throw in a few more factors into the deal, the bottom line is that there is a weakness personified by most of these senators, and they need to be reminded that their longevity in those jobs is at the peoples behest...

But they are hedging their bets that you have a ahort memory, and do not care that they just screwed you and the rest of this country into a hole growing deeper and deeper every single day...

Cruz’s constituents didn’t elect him to be on a team. They elected him to represent them!

That’s how they use to do it if you look at the old newsreels...get the states governors involved and local people......

At any rate...going the way of media exposure won’t work with how the democrats rip apart any they touch.

"... there’ll be 41 Republicans standing strong. Well, there weren’t. There were 19."

100% of all the "conservatives" on Capitol Hill stood firm with one another and for the American people. The rest are all communist minions in obomba's wheelhouse of "hoping to change" America from all that is good and decent.

Listen. A snake by any other name is still a snake and all the RINO's on Capitol Hill are and will always be demoncrap/s.

Carry on Senator Cruz. American conservatives and Texas stands proudly beside you.

Oops, TX could have voted for Dewhurst if it wanted a second team player. I guess Cornball is enough disappointment for one state to bear.

Who is Cornball’s primary opponent? He must not have the funds to make himself known in the least. People in TX I believe will stick with Cornball again.

We’re praying that Rep Louie Gohmert makes a run for Cornhole’s Senate seat. Louie would squash Corny like the bug that he is.

Goldwater was later jealous of Reagan’s success and moved steadily leftward, prodded to do so by both wives.

Stovall...He’s in bed with the Tea Party if I understand correctly...Met him at a function a few weeks ago...

Taking a close look at him now...He matches up just fine for this state’s needs...

Just myy initial opinion...

Stovall is apparently a member of the Libertarian Party if I heard right.

If so, I won’t vote for him.

I noticed that in the Dallas area AM radio stations (WBAP), Cornyn is running non-stop ads already for next year’s election...He must be worried, or is trying to cement his feaux conservative status for the primaries. The radio ads are pure “#1 conservative, anti-Obama, blah-blah, etc...” Then why did you vote for cloture?

To: Maringa; All

Saw my first Cornyn ad this morning down here in Harris County...

Can’t believe we are looking at primarying this guy out of office...I honestly thought he could not get this bad...

Stovall seems to have the right stuff...I just wish he could garner some serious support to run against this machine...

Almost feel like we are having to dump a democrat here in Cornyn...I feel kinda bad about all of this...He was a guy I thought we could count on when times like this got tough...

Was it too much to expect??? Or is D.C. so corrupt and without soul, that anyone we send up there, even Ted Cruz susceptable to the diseases up there???

I think Ted Cruz would rather die, than become another Kay Baily Hutchison/John Cornyn...

We should probably take up that lesson, learn it and live it...

It’s going to be tough to support that if it turns out to be the case...And all indicators so far are pointing in that direction...

I guess there is no one else with the stones and the backing to do so...

It would explain why Stovall is so closely masked by the Tea Party operations down this way...There wass just something about the guy that smelled funny to me...I’m still holding out trying to find out the absolute truth...

Do we want anotherr libertarian in republican clothing to occupy one of our two Senate seats??? If that turns out to be the case here???

Rand Paul sure has disguised that aspect of his political pedigree...And no one (I see) seems to mind that one bit...

I agree with you, it is something that still needs to be vetted out, before too much longer...

If you have something on Stoval that proves his political and professional affiliations, feel free to let me know...There are a few folks here in Harris County that need this information...Otherwise someone is going to cheerlead for this guy and not know what the deep roots are yet...

Later...

You know how to get a hold of me...

To: stevie_d_64

doesn’t he call himself a little (r) republican?

why?

What is a “Liberty Candidate”?

I dunno. I’m just asking questions.

I’m not going to trust someone just because they run against Cornyn

I just checked his Facebook’s “About” page and he never uses the word ‘conservative’. Has he ever described himself as a conservative?
