Very significant. Even Pete King realizes what’s at stake here: the existence of the House.

Ya see, King would sign the petition, only
" you want to make sure the other 21 Republicans whove called for a clean CR are prepared to jump with you. " ...still a rat bastard.

Doesn’t it also show that the House is still sort of following the Cruz lead here???
Cruz’s leadership is a tour de force!!!

At least King is well past his days of supporting the Irish Republican Army....he was truly insufferable back then.
To: livius
He could have been playing good cop.
Maybe moderate Republicans realize that they might have stumbled into something that could go really well for them.

Agreed...He may be taking a lot of heat about his bashing of Sen. Cruz and figures signing this goes way too far.
This decision could be self preservation.

Not buying that he’s doing this for any good reason, except to blow with the wind.
Try this: Block you caller ID. Call King’s office. Not the DC, one, the district one. Tell them you’re a constituent.
Tell them what you think of King, and his recent shenanigans. . They’ll mock you and laugh at you, and then hang up on you.
This guy thinks he’s untouchable.

Well, well, well. The King runs his mouth, but when given the chance to
vote his conviction, turns out he has neither conviction or sense.
King Rino is a fraud.

I saw this twit on Fox on Sunday...from what he was saying he was indistinguishable from a democrat. Called himself a Reagan Conservative and made me spit out my coffee.

I’m surprised that his RINO feels that way. interesting.
So any office pools out there on when the Reps fold? I’m already out, I figured they give up over the weekend.

Peter King is in the senate. He is not in affiliated with the house. He won’t try to force then senate to vote on budgets for the past five years or the original CR from the house. What business does he have commenting on forcing the house to do anything. Clean your own chamber you RINO troll!

Peter King is such a loose cannon. He's not even a reliable RINO.
You can hate him for a while, and then he does something oddly conservative so you give him the benefit of a doubt for a little while and then he screws you again. Rinse and repeat.
To his credit, he does take the threat of militant islam seriously and votes accordingly.
