"Our assessment continues to be a year or more away, and in fact, actually our estimate is probably more conservative than the estimates of Israeli intelligence services," Obama said in reply to a question about the U.S. intelligence assessment of Iran's ability to produce nuclear weapons.

Close to 3 years to design/build the machines and refine enough for the first bomb.

Iran does not have the resources to recreate the Manhattan project or design their own modern refining equipment. I doubt they can physically construct a working modern bomb even with uranium in hand.

They can build a primitive bomb but are 100% dependent on imported technology to build it. Unfortunately, humanity typically has no shortage of members willing to sell out to the devil.

Right answer should have been “never”. It's well known that Iran sees it as their personal and religious responsibility to bring chaos to the world. Obama, they LIE too!

Hey Obama, instead of destroying our nuclear arsenal (or is it too late), why not just ship all of our nukes to Iran. Then it won’t take so long for them to build up their nuclear arsenal to use against America (the big Satan), and you can just finish off America quickly instead of dragging out our destruction over the next 3 1/2 years. And after America is destroyed Iran can destroy Israel (the little Satan), and finally we can have world peace. Then you will have finally rightfully earned your Nobel Peace Prize, as well assuring your place in Paradise with your 72 bacha bazis. </sarc>

Is this like groundhog day, or something? Every Monday and Thursday, some idiot pontificates about how long it will take Iran to get the bomb. I’m sure by some prognostications of several years ago, they already got it. They’ll get the bomb eventually, so long as nobody is willing or able to stop them. Israel is willing but not able. America is able but not willing.
