We had one a while back that tried to attack someone with a stun-gun, but it didn’t work and the guy he attacked had a real gun that was working just fine!
The perp wound up shot in the a$$ and once he was out of the hospital a judge gave him a year or so in jail.

these knocout game attacks are perfect ‘disparity of force’ cases.
they do this to impress others, so there’s always multiple thugs around - also to back each other up if the victim fights back.
second it’s a surprise attack.
often it’s an older person as the victim.
so in short, there are two or three ‘disparity of force’ reasons already present under these conditions.
this means the victim is justified in using a higher level of force as a response - because they are outnumbered by attackers, regardless of if only one hits them or tries to, and because it’s a surprise attack, and three, if they’re older significantly, it’s not a fair fight. all of these factors would allow a victim to fire a weapon at the attacker in self defense.
Every state is CCW now. The rat bastards still play the game. They just go after those they perceive as vulnerable.
Like old white men, mostly. But if they have to go after younger white men, they do it en masse.
