After what happens every time someone supports personal freedom and really limiting government to its constitutional duties around here, I would have to say yes.
Strangely, many of the disrupters fighting the hardest claim to be social conservatives! They are either statists, or socialist conservatives.

Many of us for years/over a decade have felt that paid trolls post on Free Republic to disrupt any civil debate.
They never blame the rats for the problems, it is all ways the evil dumb republicans.

Right, they don’t last long at FreeRepublic. But these paid trolls are a malignancy over at Breitbart. I wish that Breitbart would start banning them — based upon IP address so they don’t keep coming back under new user names. That would at least make it difficult for them and limit the number of troll posts.
