Day 4 of shutdown: Vets are going to need wire cutters to visit WWII memorial.
The fences/barricades were not wired shut when I was here on Tuesday.

2 Millions Bikers to DC via Facebook says the barrycades came down yesterday, at least from the WWII memorial. Their planned ride for Saturday is still on.

I’m smelling an escalation... i would hate for them to be daring people to cut the wires to establish evidence / intent for an arrest.

I have seen no report of what she said to the secret service agent at gate, so really cannot comment on that, but entirely possible. Would be nice to know.
I am not surprised one bit, that people, myself included, do not necessarily buy what the government or the media have to say on anything anymore. Why do you think conspiracy theories are so rampant in authoritarian, fascist countries as a general provable rule? It is a natural, organic, outcrop from being lied to over and over again by a state run media and fascist/socialist/Marxist/authoritarian governments.

I heard Michelle Bachman say the other day, the because they (the House) fund National Parks, they can go in and “inspect” them at any time. And, bring a lot of help (WWII vets) to help the inspection process!

I can see Obama calling for the arrest of Ted Cruz or Rand Paul on the charge that inciting people to tear down barricades of closed parks is a breach of the peace.
