God forbid word gets out that people are capable of walking around cemetaries, parks and monuments, etc. ALL BY THEMSELVES, without government employees.
Which begs the question why are we wasting these tax dollars? Fine, pay to have it mown and the restrooms cleaned. I'm sure the janitor can keep the bulletin board up to date and the brochure box filled. But that's all that's needed. Same with the Grand Canyon. It's not like it was boxed up and stored away until the government opens back up. Just like NASA didn't turn back Voyager or shut it down. This shut might just wake up some people with just a tiny crack into government waste.
