Commissaries are part of an “earned” benefit package - perhaps one of the biggest benefits
Think the benefits are generous? Then join the military, it’s all volunteer
Might as well say military salaries and military healthcare are also “welfare” and lump soldiers right in there with the takers
I am retired military. I am just being truthful. Try it sometime, you will feel better.
Someone please explain to me why grocery store shelf stockers are federal employess with taxpayer funded benefits and pensions. Cashiers too.
For all the crap these people put up with like crappy pay, poor leadership and being ordered to take part in conflicts with their hands tied, Why would anyone begrudge them cheaper prices on stuff on a base?
sighs
Good for you!!!
It’s a huge difference between serving and having govt benefits and being on welfare, EBT and Medicaid but few people understand it....
pisses me off.
