If I was a candidate like Lhota and accused of being a conservative, I would embrace it. But Lhota is running in NYC, maybe the most liberal bastion in the country. He can’t come off as an ideologue, unfortunately. However, I would waste no effort categorizing DeBlasio for what he is and how his liberal predecessors brought NYC to the brink of anarchy. I think Lhota has plenty of ammunition to use against his leftist opponent.
Electing de Blasio will put NYC on the fast track to becoming Detroit.
