Sucking on the public teat is habit-forming.
I thought you had to be out of work 2 weeks before you could file ????
Now that it’s effecting the government itself, the economic slump is now considered a problem.
Oh great, double dipping.
Get unemployment bennies and then get back pay for days off.
And we get to pay for all that.
Nah, before you get paid perhaps. You can file for UI the day you’re laid-off, furloughed, fired or quit. Quitting puts the burden of proof on you, though.
That's the way it was the last time I was laid off in the private sector. But who know? Maybe those rules don't apply to federal workers just like Obamacare doesn't...
File the first week. File a claim the second week. One wk waiting period
what bums.
No, in TN, I believe there is a 1 week wait after you file before you are eligible for benefits. But that just means you should file as soon as you get notice.
The nation is in a death struggle with a parasite government that has reached “critical mass”, and has no qualms about killing the host.
They CAN’T file for “unemployment benefits”!!!
They are NOT fired, or RELEASED from their duties, they have been locked out, by the President of the United States, their union capo de tutti capo!
Then, they give up any claim on back pay if the government decides to grant it.
They should aso give up any claim on returning to their old job.
They know all the loopholes and are notorious for double dipping.
In DC it must be 2 minutes.
If awarded UC, they’ll be considered overpaid once the feds make sure they get back pay for the time they were home watching Jerry Springer. The DC unemployment folks may just “waive” the OPs to their fellow public employees.
I see no problem getting unemployment, frankly the employer pays into the fund..but the cry babies need to quit saying how bad off they will be with out their pay ( have not missed a check yet)... unemployment does not take out fica, medicare, or fed tax\es unless u want them taken out..so most will not lose much in the end...
“Sucking on the public teat is habit-forming.”
Yep, it is a damn disease!
If one government agency can’t give it to you move on to the next & the next & the next...they learn YOUNG...
