Officials issued an all-clear late Tuesday after Jacksonville International Airport in Florida was evacuated in response to suspicious packages.
"At this point, we've gotten an all-clear in the terminal and our garages and our surface lots," Jacksonville Airport Authority spokesman Michael Stewart told reporters.
"We erred on the side of caution in terms of doing whatever's necessary to make sure that everybody is safe," he said.
Shannon Harley, with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, told reporters that a device was found and rendered safe. He provided no other details.
The evacuation had an impact on flights, with some arriving aircraft diverted and some passengers taken from planes already on the ground to hotels.
One suspicious package was in a garage, another in a terminal, said Stewart.
Asked whether there had been any arrests, he said: "Not to my knowledge."

Jacksonville International Airport reopens; device ‘rendered safe’
Witnesses say they saw 2 men taken into custody
The Jacksonville International Airport was immediately evacuated after 2 suspicious packages were found, one package was found in the terminal and one in the parking garage. The incident began when authorities at the airport confronted a suspicious man who said he had a bomb and a second man was seen running away from the scene. According to flightaware.com, both men have been arrested. The airport reopened late this evening after a press conference where Jacksonville Sheriffs Office spokesman, Shannon Hartley, said they recovered a device in one of the packages that certainly had some destructive nature. -
Orlando’s WFTV just reported that NOBODY was arrested and they are still looking for the perps. (Conflicting reports on this.)

“His neighbor ‘Bella’, who wishes not give a last name, says Vesna, 42, came to her home Tuesday worried about her husband. Vesna told Bella that Zeljko was acting psychotic and that he took her phone and was pacing around.
Bella says Zeljko told Vesna “they’d be sorry.” Vesna then told Bella that she was taking the kids and staying at a hotel.
Bomb squad and officials were in the neighborhood last night, Bella says, but she has not seen officials today. “
