Boehner’s office also released a statement:
“The president called the speaker this evening to discuss funding for the government and Obamacare.
“The speaker told the president that Obamacare is costing jobs and that American families are being denied basic fairness when big businesses are getting exemptions that they are not. The call lasted nearly ten minutes.”
Boehner and the GOP is playing a great hand, just hang in there.

I can’t believe how naïve some folks are.
The second offer from the house should have been - No Ocare funding and 1% across the board budget cut.
Third offer - No Ocare funding and 2% cut, etc.
Reid and Obama have told GOP to go to help, that they get nothing for a CR, that they must cave or be destroyed.
What can they negotiate about? That one tax?
