I started international travel in 2000, living first in Slovakia. In 2005 I moved to the Philippines, where I am now married and raising a new boy. Life has been great. I can not imagine being back in the USSA, under premier Obumbo.
It was caused by the "War on Drugs" which justifies any trampling on liberties because drugs are so bad and because "if I didn't do anything wrong, I have no reason to fear".
Now it's "We Treat You Like A King".
My county Sheriff has said he will not enforce any new un-Constitutional gun control laws state or FedMob. It might benefit me if his department gets itself trained and armed better.

This reeks of intimidation to me, and the felt need to use unnecessary resources that would otherwise just be laying around doing nothing.
Geez Billy Bob we got ourselves a nice full auto machine gun from the Afghanistan war front. Maybe we can go find ourselves a "compound" to raid and shoot up some people.

I had blackhawk helicopters flying low over my house this weekend. There were 15 of them within a couple of hours. The exercises are going on here. Thank God we ousted our gun hating mayor a few months ago. Bloomberg lost one of his members.

“Shelter in Place” is just a PC term for “Martial Law Curfew”

The individual states need to act on this with a simple, two part law: The Police Demilitarization Law.
1) Municipal police departments in the state must have written state approval for all police, military, and paramilitary equipment they possess, store and use. This includes equipment from all sources, including privately owned equipment. This written approval can be rescinded at any time and will be decided on a case by case basis.
2) Equipment not authorized by the state will be turned over to the county Sheriff’s office for safekeeping, to be retained, used, sold or destroyed at the discretion of that Sheriff.
And a second state law, to officially changed the training curriculum at the state police academy to more literally follow the US constitution, despite federal laws and court rulings to the contrary.
With record setting fires in 2012 and record setting floods this year I think he has his hands full at the moment. And he has done a brilliant job of handling it all. I have a good deal of confidence in him to continue making good decisions.
