Foxnews:

Republicans are huddling to plot their next move. Party leaders already have their counterproposal at the ready — a bill that would delay the so-called individual mandate by a year while ensuring that high-level administration officials, members of Congress and their staff get their health insurance through ObamaCare without an additional government subsidy.

According to fox news.... No exclusions for congress, staff, executive and appointments, fed employees and the courts. Also a one year hold on the individual mandate.

What was wrong with the first one? The House GOP is a total embarrassment. They are tap dancing their way to a cave in. I can’t even watch it anymore.

What will this one contain?

A personal apology to Barack Obama and Harry Reid, and to Obamaphone lady for worrying her.

What a bunch of surrender-monkeys we have in the House, unless they’re 100 % sure Reid and Obama won’t accept this latest proposal and we’re just calling their bluff.

While the individual mandate and government exemptions are terrible for sure, the part of Obamacare that absolutely has to be repealed or at minimum delayed are the Health Care Exchanges. As soon as people are allowed to sign up for those Obamacare will un-repealable.

It’s actually more haragei than kabuki.

I had to go look that up. So, it would be like Kabuki if it were written by Ayn Rand? :^) (Ayn Rand could find a way to stretch the act of picking up a pencil into three paragraphs, just by studying implications of concerns.)

Thanks for the update. Get sick of seeing all the “you cavers!” screaming without any hard info.

Nice to see they’ve ADDED provisions that sock it hard to the Demon rats in Congress.

Yeah, I tried reading Atlas Shrugged...got about 300 pages into it, and was frighteningly bored. I kept thinking it would get more entertaining and interesting. But it didn’t.

There were interesting parts, but Ayn could’ve used a good editor to trim down some of the verbosity.

She was the Fidel Castro of the literary world.

He’s been making those statements every other day.

The GOP House leadership has blinked so often, I swear Boehner must have a tic.

got about 300 pages into it

I read the whole thing.

I do admit, half a dozen paragraphs into the famous Galt speech on the radio, I wanted to gouge my eyes out and commit some kind of suicide simultaneously.

Let's just say she had a gift for describing how leftists gain and continue in power, and be nice to the dead........

:-)

No caving, just a handful of small compromises that the American people want.

I think that the stuff added in is great for us - they’ve delayed the Obamacare implementation for the individual mandate - good AND they chopped out the exception for Congress and Gov’t employees meaning they will have to take Obamacare next year! You know Dirty Harry will turn this down...I think the Republicans deserve to be given an “ATTA BOY”...stop crying when they actually do something RIGHT!

There is no “delay” if your company drops your coverage dumps you into the exchanges. If the exchanges start up kenyancare is here to stay.

Kenyancare. that is good. I will use it.

I had been using only Obamadontcare, but will mix in some kenyancare. It sounds just as abysmal.

I don’t think Ayn Rand ever conceived such a messed up government as this. So she’d have to really put pen to paper to describe this.

Cruz said it would contain a one year delay for individual mandate like large corps and remove the Congress exemption. We’ll see...

Yep, but reid won't play.

Like a one year delay to regroup.
