We’ve done nothing but lose with that approach King. Moderated approaches do not work in Washington. The left is in full sprint by doing the opposite, and losers like this sit back and act like we are extreme for not wanting full blown socialism and government control.

That’s an excellent strategy, tell your opponent you are going give up if he doesn’t back down. We need to fully clean both houses.

.... the Gutless Old Party ...

This is why the old guard hates Cruz so much ... he's exposing them for what they are and making their cushy go-along-to-get-along-and-line-my-pockets ways a heck of a lot more difficult.

It would suit me fine if Peter King lived a long life and never voted for or against any other bill.

I have had it with these Yankee Republicans, including Snowe and Collins!

Gee, you’d think he’d be tired of Obama and Reid calling
the shots...

If the leaders won’t lead, shove them out of the way.

It’ll be Republicans like this who push us to using the Second Amendment for its original purpose.

According to Rep. King, the R party could have succeeded by compromising on some things. Well, how wonderful is that? The Dems get 99 percent control over a massive segment of the American economy and personal freedom and the R party and his constituents get, what, elimination of the medical device tax? Wow! How could we be so foolish as not to jumpt at that deal!?!? /sarcasm extreme

So, Rep. King’s constituents are strongly opposed to Obama care but don’t want to shut down the government. In other words, they are frightened but not too wise. Obama and the Dems, with the largest MSM, union, and internet propaganda system in history (funded by force and taxpayers), will not compromise one inch on anything they don’t really care about. I don’t want to shut down the gov’t either, but neither am I intimidated by threats of my gov’t to shut itself down if I don’t knuckle under. The threat of a shutdown is a propaganda tool and the threat of Obama-care is the act of an oppressive gov’t.

I and T. Cruz are not to blame. Me thinks the NYC and other urban societies need to consider starting their own autonomous political entities, print their own currencies, replace Constitutional law with personal ideology, and incur their own debts. Their desires and actions are incompatible with the government needs of Americans.

Sorry to hear you say that Peter. We are tired of hearing you speak down to people actually trying to o what their constituents sent them there to do.

We can only hope your onstituents will be “tired” of your antics and elect a more true conservative to office committed to stopping Obamacare.

I like Peter King. For instance, he is one of the few people in Congress bringing up Christians being murdered all over the world by Muslims. He’s stood forward on a lot of unpopular things, so I think he must really believe this.

Cruz is calling the shot because he seems to be the only one that knows where the target is.
