Rice told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria that the Iranian delegation approached the Obama administration about a phone call between President Barack Obama and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
The request came after indicating earlier in the week that a direct meeting at the UN General Assembly would not be possible due to Iran’s internal political reality.

The scenario should have played out as follows:
“Call me.”
“Uh no, I am the president of the USA. YOU call ME, beeeitch.”
Unless of course if you’re a Muslim doing the bid of your Mohammedian masters, the you do as the Iranian president orders.

Maybe after Ruohani refused to meet with Obama in person, he groveled “Can you at least talk to me over the phone, please, please... I’ll send you a million dollar-worth antique treasure, just please, please take my phone call....”
