Yo Tom Coburn, if you happen to be lurking here...

Just stay in Washington. Don't even bother to come back here. Stay in Washington with your good friend Barack H. Obama.

A third party will just advance the Dem’s power in the next election cycle. Time to go all out to primary the RINO’s & get good conservatives in office. Especially in Red States like Tennessee.

I hope, but I thought the same about MC Cain. That did not happen so I went back to the ,”Never predict what a voter or jury will do.” saying.

“Graham is going to get his ass handed to him this election.”

He supported amnesty and got away with it. Why is this different?

Nope. They decided that 2008. On the first Tuesday in November 2014, they will again decide who they prefer.

Cruz, in a way, did the job of the cavalry scout this week.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. Now we have a nice little list of who not to contribute to.

Which would accomplish...
...what was that again?
I can’t remember.

Advances for conservatism, defeat of progressives of either party. I am so sick of those who refuse to consider the possibility of a new party rising from the ashes of the GOP. Ross Perot was ahead in the polls after 3 months of campaigning, until he exposed himself as a lunatic. A third party would not need to be a suicide mission. It would run in strategically targeted races against candidates that need to be defeated with candidates that can win. In South Carolina, the party can endorse a conservative Republican to take out Goober in a runoff. In a state like Arizona with open primaries where McCain wins with Democrat votes, the party can run a conservative under its own banner. In the Presidential election, the party can field its own candidate. It can endorse conservative Republicans and run against progressive Republicans. In Congress, they can caucus with Republicans, and have greater leverage to get powerful committee chairmanships.

In other words, it would work like a parliamentary system where there are often 3 or more major parties and one group tries to put together a governing coalition. It would be interesting to see if the GOPe preferred to govern with conservatives or Democrats. I think they like Democrats better, and are really the "go-slow" wing of the progressive movement. It really is not about Democrat vs. Republican. It is Progressive vs. Conservative, and when you realize that, you realize that it really doesn't matter much if a Mitch McConnell loses his race. If he runs the Senate, there is no way in hell he will ever vote to repeal Obamacare in a vote that will matter. There is no way in hell he won't vote for amnesty if it is going to pass and his vote is needed. So why do we care about him versus a truthful Democrat? Same crap, different cronies.

Graham is going to get his ass handed to him this election.

After the 2010 election victories all we heard from hopeful conservatives is that Obama is never going to get reelected. Look what happened.

It will be very, very difficult to unseat Ms. Lindsey.

Remember S.C. has an open primary system.

The elites in both parties are hell bent on destroying any Conservative.

If this frustrates them, they ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Think how frustrated they will be in 2014 when they find they have abused and lost their base. They will probably go along with amnesty too. Think how frustrated they will be when illegals don’t vote for them either.

Lats add some insult to their injury for 2016. When they force Jeb or fatass on people, the frustration will be high gear!

I want to call all these leaders and ask them why the hell did you run for office if you’re not going to lead?

Here’s the thing about creating a real opposition party: If the election of 2014 is not fought on Obamacare, it will become permanent. If you do not understand that full implementation of Obamacare is the end of our constitutional republic, fine, stop reading.

The people can still exercise their sovereignty and do away with Obamacare, but time is short and the chances to do so are few. The best, and, I think, the only chance is to elect pro-repeal pro-defund majorities to the House AND to the Senate, and to do it in 2014.

THE GOP CANNOT DO THE WORK. The GOP is deeply divided over Obamacare. They will never, never fund and run a campaign in all 435 House districts and for all 34 contested Senate seats that promises to stop Obamacare by any means necessary. They won’t do it because they don’t believe in it.

AND, our anti-Obamacare majority includes many independents and even Democrats who despise the GOP, often for good reasons, and who would never vote for a candidate with that brand.

There need to be 435+34 candidates who are single-mindedly devoted to removing the yoke of Obamacare from our necks. THAT CANNOT HAPPEN AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN under the GOP label.

Give it up. The party’s over. It’s time for something new.

Been there, done that, & ended up coming back to the Republicans.

If we split from the Republican Party now, we simply assure a Dem majority House & Senate in 2014, & for all intents & purposes we’ll be living in Cuba. Now is the time to go after RINO’s. Lamar Alexander & Lindsey Graham are both in trouble. If we buckle down & go after them - even some of the guys who are usually good, but gave up on us this time - we might get where we want to go in 2014.

[I’ve got to decide what kind of role I want to play]-—Linda Graham

That is the problem in a nutshell. These narcissists just want to be on the stage PLAYING A ROLE. Pathetic

To be honest, I would have to weigh (no pun intended) the possibility of an HRC presidency.

Obamacare is just the tip of the iceberg. Just wait until the amnesty issue comes up, as it will be sure to do so yet this year. IMO we will have many of those in the House who are opposed to Obamacare who will vote for wholesale amnesty. Obamacare is but a gnat compared to the damage the amnesty vulture will do to whatever is left of our country.

Not to worry about the government employees who spied on us during a shutdown, they’ll supplement their lack of income by going freelance on blackmailing the people they spied on :)
